Bug Description

Crashes constantly when running «vym» from the package «vym».
This makes vym totally unusable because of constant display flicker (menu gets added and removed rapidly).

Thank you for your report!

However, processing it in order to get sufficient information for the
developers failed (it does not generate a useful symbolic stack trace). This
might be caused by some outdated packages which were installed on your system
at the time of the report:

tzdata version 2011n-2 required, but 2012b-1 is available
libatk1.0-0 version 2.3.91-0ubuntu1 required, but 2.3.91-0ubuntu2 is available
outdated debug symbol package for libatk1.0-0: package version 2.3.91-0ubuntu2 dbgsym version 2.3.91-0ubuntu1
libatk1.0-data version 2.3.91-0ubuntu1 required, but 2.3.91-0ubuntu2 is available

Please upgrade your system to the latest package versions. If you still
encounter the crash, please file a new report.

Thank you for your understanding, and sorry for the inconvenience!

Sorry, “Apport retracing service (apport)”, you are using outdated packages, not I, as you state yourself in your report.

By the way, removing the package «appmenu-qt» fixes this issue for me and makes vym usable again.
