Bug Description

TB consistently crashes with the lastest build on Lucid or Maverick. On Lucid, this is a stable thunderbird, so it's really a appmenu-gtk change, as the stack trace shows.

This crash is not limited to Thunderbird 3.x: Firefox 4.x hangs on startup while Seamonkey 2.x crashes on startup due to appmenu-gtk.

The affected seamonkey identifies itself as follows:

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:2.0b4pre) Gecko/20100815 SeaMonkey/2.1a3pre

Firefox 4.x:

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:2.0b4pre) Gecko/20100816 Minefield/4.0b4pre

Remove the appmenu-gtk package to restore these programs back to functionality. Maybe it is a better idea to blacklist all recent xulrunner apps?
