Bug Description

I'm trying to build appmenu-gtk (from trunk) on a machine with libgtk 3.7.12-1ubuntu1~build1 (from the GNOME 3 PPA). The build fails:

  CC libappmenu_la-bridge.lo
bridge.c: In function 'app_menu_bridge_insert':
bridge.c:860:3: error: implicit declaration of function 'GTK_IS_TEAROFF_MENU_ITEM' [-Werror=implicit-function-declaration]
cc1: all warnings being treated as errors
make[3]: *** [libappmenu_la-bridge.lo] Error 1

The problem is that GTK_IS_TEAROFF_MENU_ITEM is deprecated, but src/Makefile.am defines GTK_DISABLE_DEPRECATED.

appmenu-gtk has been replaced by unity-gtk-module so I'm closing this bug.
