the appcenter can't download apps

after running the update the appcenter won't allow me to install any apps.

OP, can you elaborate on what you mean by "won't allow me"? Can you describe exactly what you're trying to do and exactly what you're seeing?

Yes i was trying to install firefox through the appcenter pressed the
install button nothing happened it would not allow the install. I tried
another app to see if it would do something same thing nothing happened.

Nope that one says the appcenter hangs, this bug simply wont let me
install ANY of the apps in the appcenter i press the the install
button and nothing happens. i did notice that when i installed loki
before the updates kicked in everything was fine could install apps ,
after I ran all 17 updates that's when the problem began.
