Bug Description

I installed the latest beta from the website (fresh install) and after the installation I had to run `sudo apt-get update` to update all the package sources.

Although I am an experienced Linux user, this is very inconvenient for new people, stuff should just work. Because the first thing I did was installing Google Chrome. I downloaded the package and double clicked it (acting like a dumb user) and the Ubuntu Software Center complained about unmet dependencies. Although I knew what to do, for new people this is just deal breaker. It's the first thing people do after an installation: install software.

I would propose to run `sudo apt-get update` at the end of the installation (if there's an internet connection), so that the system is ready to rock right after the installation reboot.
