AppCenter hangs on 50% progress; package is installed

Bug Description

I was installing Shutter right now. It started to install, but got stuck halfway through. The package however is installed correctly by that point (from what I can see). The packagekitd process is still there, consumes about 200 MBs of memory but has no CPU activity and there is no disk activity either.

Hi, I am also facing the same issue. I was installing the System Monitor from software center. It stucked at 50% progress and not responding now.
