Errors getting content aren't dealt with correctly

If we get a bad return code back from getting the content:
  a) no \n is appended to the message printed so the bash prompt is indented
  b) we die rather than return so we don't check again

Also the 5 second time out is incredibly short given how unresponsive twitter often is, maybe 20 would be better.
