Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-themes-ubuntu
The grays of the Gnome panel are slightly different than the grays used elsewhere in the New Wave theme. Maybe this is by design, but the effect is subtle enough that it just looks wrong to my eyes. I would advocate either making them identical or making them less similar.
This is, of course, an incredibly minor thing to complain about :)

This color is by design. It is dictated by usability reasons and would not be changed in the default theme. You could use the New Wave Configurator to change the panel theme if you want a greater difference: /launchpad. net/anton/ +download
