The menus is working in the theme you mentioned because it's using a theme engine and I am using pixmap one that is a little but different. As this application GlobalMenu is still an alpha version it is not very polished and established yet. So let's wait and make sure the app is polished and stable enough to make it to mainstream and then we will look at that bug again.
