Bug Description
My android N8000 phone has 3 main drives:
App Storage (548 MB)
/mnt/sdcard (2,043 MB)
/mnt/sdcard2 (30,334 MB)
I put my cookie files in and set the "Folder containing cookie files" to
/mnt/sdcard2/
and then I select 2 cookie files, and everything works fine for a while.
Soon, though, the "Folder containing cookie files" reverts to its default value of
/mnt/sdcard/
Maybe during device reboot / startup, "Android's Fortune" looks for my cookie file folder (before it's finished mounting), doesn't find it, and reverts the cookie file folder setting to its default value?

I've got the same problem. I set my "Folder containing cookie files" to similar locations in my two devices (allowing for device configuration):
Samsung Captivate (Android 2.3.5): /mnt/sdcard/ external_ sd/Android/ data/net. lp.androidsfort une Android/ data/net. lp.androidsfort une
Toshiba Thrive 10" (Android 4.0.4): /mnt/sdcard2/
It works fine, until I pop the SD card out and back in again (always shutting down the device first and not turning it back on until the card's back in, so it shouldn't even be able to detect a state change). AF reverts to its default settings every time.
The only detectable change should be that my text files (fortune.master.txt and extra.txt) change size in between, and the .num files have been deleted (to force an update of the quote count). If I delete a .num file manually while running the tablet (say, after adding a quote to my "extra" file), AF notices the missing file in my custom directories and allows me to recreate it automatically by tapping Preferences. But if these files have changed after a reboot, it seems to confuse AF.
