Bug Description

- x86: Misc patches for latest AMD CPU families

   x86, amd: Re-enable CPU topology extensions in case BIOS has disabled it
   commit f7f286a910221ae18b21c18d9d0f4cd88965829f in tip/master (not yet in Linus' Linux tree)

   Also a fix to correct L1i/L2 cache properties in /sysfs should be integrated

   x86/amd: Fix L1i and L2 cache sharing information for AMD family 15h processors
   Upstream commit 32c3233885eb10ac9cb9410f2f8cd64b8df2b2a1

Only committed f7f286a910221ae18b21c18d9d0f4cd88965829f, 32c3233885eb10ac9cb9410f2f8cd64b8df2b2a1 was already there.

This bug is awaiting verification that the kernel for oneiric in -proposed solves the problem (3.0.0-23.38). Please test the kernel and update this bug with the results. If the problem is solved, change the tag 'verification-needed-oneiric' to 'verification-done-oneiric'.

If verification is not done by one week from today, this fix will be dropped from the source code, and this bug will be closed.
