Comment 24 for bug 274424

I have the same problem. On Ubuntu 8.10 and Fedora 10 the sound worked but at 9.04, (K)Ubuntu 9.10 and Fedora 11 doesn't work.
I have HP DV3640EW and actually Kubuntu 9.10 KK:
