ALSA driver for EMU0404 PCI does not work

The Alsa driver 1.0.15 should support the E-MU 0404 PCI sound card.

For some reason it does not seem to do so.

sudo modprobe snd-emu10K1 works fine & does not report issues.

The following Information for ALSA:

I have the same sound card (EMU 0404) but USB (not PCI) and it works great on Jaunty and Karmic.
