why can't auto refresh use search options?

Bug Description
When doing a manual refresh or using monitoring, AirDC will scan the folders for missing/extra files. Why can't this work for auto refresh too? If i do a manual refresh or if it is made after a time schedule both should still be able to detect missing/extra files. Is it possible to add an option for those users that want it to work for the auto refresh?
