Bug Description

When i search and it can't get any hits i have to use the drop down menu to re-add what i searched for and then press the button. Instead it would be great with an extra button that will search for the same thing i last searched for in that window. You can easy see what it was in search progress bar, so there is no need for anything more than a button. Make the 'purge' button smaller :)

Settings advanced, untick clear search box after each search. Isnt that kind of the same thing. I dont see much reason to readd the earlier text again with a button.

Yes, that will keep the search text in the search box, but 8 of 10 times you search you want it to be empty, but sometimes you want to search for the same search string and then it would be nice with a button. I have no use of the settings after i search so i will never know when i need to change it.

Maybe you could remove the whole settings and make it work like this instead. You never search with an empty search box so it must be easy to make it search for the previous search if you press the search button and the search box is empty. Then you have no use of "Clear search box after each search", or do i? The only reason i can come up with to not clear the search box must be to easy re-search for the same search words, but if you make it as i suggested it will fit both needs, but if someone still needs to have the latest search words in the search box, don't remove the "Clear search box after each search" option.

If its 2 out of 10 times you need to research, it doesnt need a button, the history is there in the drop down. Keeping the string in the box is slightly different than research, it keeps the string for editing.

Yes, i don't want it removed, only to make me use both features at the same time without change an option all the time.

You wrote: "If its 2 out of 10 times you need to research, it doesn't need a button" that is correct, but when I can't find what i'm looking for, i will keep the search window open and go back to search for the same thing again. So it can be 1 research but it can also be 20 researches depending on how long time it takes to find what i'm looking for.
