Bug Description

The current hash progress indicator could be expanded to work with different operations (refresh, share scan and so on). Pause/resume/stop buttons could also be part of the progress indicator. The current hash progress dialog should be removed.

The progress indicator should have a simple API that various client features (and future plugins) could use without excessive amount of work. When there are multiple operations in progress, the indicator could switch between them every few seconds.

yes but this also means the progress bar should be a completely own toolbar row for it to have even close to enough room for showing the information the hash progress dialog does, so it kind of might go along with my original idea on making the hash progress to show inside systemlog window.

Pause/resume/stop could be implemented with two icons and I don't see any other relevant information that should be shown (or a tooltip could be used for that)

I like to see the file currently being hashed, using tooltips with so changing information might not be the best way but that would work. But how would you handle the stop/pause buttons if there are hash, refresh, and scanning running at the same time and it switches them every few seconds? so the user needs to press the pause just the right time for it to pause the wanted operation?
I think it probobly should not be allowed for those 3 to run at the same time.

It's not that common case so I don't think that it's an issue.....

This feature probably needs a new manager in the core
