Bug Description

flashplugin-installer fails to install on a raring system in multi-arch mode.

To reproduce, start from an x86_64 system and try to install the i386 version of flashplugin-installer:

$ sudo apt-get install flashplugin-installer:i386

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 flashplugin-installer:i386 : Depends: update-notifier-common:i386 (>= 0.119ubuntu2) but it is not installable
                              Recommends: libasound2-plugins:i386 (>= 1.0.16) but it is not going to be installed

This bug still exists in 16.04LTS. flashplugin-installer:i386 cannot be installed in AMD64 system due to unresolved dependency: update-notifier-common.
