I'm after installing Activity-log-manage after reading a review on this website about it:

Having problems on starting it. Activity-log-manager failing to load after showing this message launching from terminal:

$ activity-log-manager
Zeitgeist version 0.8 or later required.

but when I do:

$ dpkg -s zeitgeist

It is clearly obvious that I have zeitgeist .0.8.0-1~ppa~natty installed from the ppa but still failing to load.

What I have done to resolve: Update zeigest-core then restart.
Is there any command to manually restart zeigest?

Yes: zeitgeist-daemon --restart
