i think search field will useful
also, will be useful search api via dbus or libs to make search applet for deskbar

Hi,
A full-text search feature is being planned, to be added later (hopefully before version 1.0).
However, DBus search API is not planned, or was not considered. After implementing full-text search, developers/project lead may consider if this feature can be added.
