black screen issue during absence

Bug Description
the screen is turning dark after a while and is not switching on again.
The only way is switch to a TTY and than back to the GUI interface.
(ctrl+alt+f1 and ctrl+alt+f7)
This bug exist since lubuntu 14.04 at the ac100.

Sidenote: the kernel in 14.04 is no longer maintained, and there is no support for 14.04 on ac100.
As noted on IRC, either install my experimental kernel: https:/
or upgrade to use uboot/3.16 kernel (generic kernel from utopic)
