Bug Description

Binary package hint: gstm

Gstm is doing great, but the lack for a tighter integration with the opiekey program makes a bit annoying to use when connecting to remote servers using this authentification system. It would be nice if it silently called the opiekey program instead, and poped-up a window for entering the passphrase.

I don't think you intended to forward this to my project, since the feature request is for gstm. That is not to say that it wouldn't be a good idea for my alternative ssh tunnel manager, just that I think the original user was looking for functionality in gstm.

In my system, users wishing to have passwords stored for tunnels or keys would use my ssh-askpass-keyring program, which stores passphrases in the gnome keyring. A feature request for my ssh-askpass-keyring program would be appropriate, and I might open a wishlist bug against that program, too.

Hi,

I don't quite understand why the bug report has been forwarded to you.
I originally posted it as a feature request for gSTM on launchpad, and
did not perform any further action.

Thanks for having kindly let me know.

Best,

Pierre Yves
