Install of 11.04 64bit 03-30-2011 Fails-See Screenshots

Ubuntu Desktop amd64 (20110330) - CD boots fine and goes through a majority of the installation but it ultimately fails. SEE SCREENSHOT.

Test computer is a Dell XPS 420 (highly modified)

Intel Core2Extreme 3.0GHz 4 Core
8GB DDR2 RAM
nVidia GeForce GTS 450 1GB DDR5 VRAM PCIexpress
Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy SE PCI

CD downloaded and md5sum verified and burned and verified to a CD-R disc.

After installation error, the installation abruptly stops and says its finished?
Upon reboot, I am show a GRUP command prompt?

I tried to install it a second time (full format of HDD) - installation crashes with an error near end of "Installing system" part.

tried official 11.04 64bit Beta1 CD - same problem with installation - I've been using various Ubuntu versions for over 2 years - 11.04 64bit Alpha3 CD worked perfectly and Beta 1 does not work at all

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. If you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running only once:
apport-collect 746492

and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
