Hi,
I have a sound problem with my ACER ASPIRE 8920G.
I did everything : installation linux-backport-
I am on Hardy 8.04 beta with x86_64.
In addition : I also tried the way to download the last driver, e.g. alsa-driver-

It seems to me I have the same problem but on a Dell (inspiron 1420). I pasted below the output of the same commands that the one Patrick gave (and I don't understand everything).
