Testing an installation of today's build amd64 from an usb key with persistence.
Everythings go well till the slides appear, then after some times I note that the progress bar was again at the same point showing the same written

this bug was fixed, so it can depend on other, so please try again from a live session, and when the installer hang again, open a terminal and type ubuntu-bug ubiquity

Installing my second machine, i got this message in terminal - installation proceeds.

 It does help, when you first boot as live CD and then remove ubiquity-slideshow-(xubuntu) packadge. you can do it from live session bu opening terminal and typing there: sudo apt-get remove ubiquity-slideshow-xubuntu. Instead of "xubuntu" use your distro name.

I did this on Lubuntu 12.04 and then started the installation from desktop icon and this time it went smoothly.
