Bug Description

Sound has been working just fine for me since the 10.10 release.

After this last Maverick update, sound broke.

I tried troubleshooting the problem and read through the ubuntu sound troubleshooting wiki here:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingSoundProblems

I installed a latest snapshot dkms alsa driver following instructions here:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Audio/UpgradingAlsa

But sound still isn't working.

Please contact me if you have any additional questions or need additional information from my system.

Thanks.

This is apparently a regression from the recent maverick kernel update in bug 910919.

All, with the latest 10.10 update (IIRC, I updated last Thur/Fri) sound is working fine now.

You can close this as fixed, or however you'd like to categorize it.

There were no sound subsystem changes from 32.64 to 32.65, so I assume another issue may have happened, closing as invalid, feel free to change if problem re-appears.
