Do not pin Ubuntu One to the launcher by default

The Ubuntu One launcher item takes up precious default space in the launcher. It is a link to the Ubuntu One Control Panel which is also present in the Messaging Menu and System Settings and can be found easily in the Dash. To use Ubuntu One, you just need to configure it the first time; after that, many people will not need to open the Control Panel.

The launcher should not be used as an advertisement for Ubuntu services. Perhaps a Welcome wizard as was used in Windows Vista and 7 or a Tour feature like Windows XP could help if Canonical does not feel consumers are aware of the Ubuntu One features.

I had something similar with my upgrade. I was not able to dump any info, as my box crashed completely. Took me 2 days to get it back online.

the ubuntuone launcher is display syncing status using a bar on the launcher icon so it's useful for that

Ok, that was quick to have this bug closed. I believe Unity would work better if there weren't several different ways of getting to the same feature. That kind of duplication makes the interface more cluttered and confusing.
