Hello
Testing an installaton with the screen reader enabled a blind person cannot install the system because live session start muted (meaning that the loudspeaker icon appear muted associated to the --, then immediatly convert to crossed x) on three of four different machines.
Also the installed system, only at the first boot, start muted.

Thanks for reporting this bug and any supporting documentation. Since this bug has enough information provided for a developer to begin work, I'm going to mark it as confirmed and let them handle it from here.
I can confirm this using an Ensoniq sound card. Sound is muted on starting both the live cd and the first boot after an installation. When the sound is unmuted, it will not mute by itself again.
