Bug Description

Binary package hint: dkms

In Ubuntu 10.10 dkms version 2.1.1.2-3ubuntu1.1 recommends only
following linux headers:

linux-headers-2.6-amd64 | linux-headers-generic | linux-headers

I'm using linux-image-generic-pae kernel because on NX feature,
and virtualbox-ose package which uses dkms to build vboxdrv.

If I install linux-headers-generic-pae manually, all is ok. But if I mark
package linux-headers-generic-pae as auto managed in aptitude
it is removed because no other packages depend on it. As a result
dkms fails to build vboxdrv module.

I suppose the issue can be avoided by adding linux-headers-generic-pae
as an alternative to dkms dependency.

I'm not sure this is really necessary anymore. On 11.04:

You can see that the individual headers packages to Provides: linux-headers so they will be satisfied here. We don't want to be in the habit of having to include every variation of linux-headers in dependencies or recommends, which is why the virtual package is there.
