Bug Description
Version: byobu (lucid-proposed: 2.68-0ubuntu1.1)
Tested on: turnkey-core-beta (based on Lucid Lynx).
When byobu is configured to auto-launch on login, and a user SSH's into localhost, byobu will dive into an infinite loop launching itself.
* Test case: install byobu; configure to launch by default; ssh <user>@127.0.0.1;
* Break the loop: ctrl-a-\

This is fixed upstream and in Maverick.
However, it is a big problem in Lucid.
I'll backport a suitable fix and propose an SRU.
