The network-manager package in ubuntu breezy is lacking VPN support. Tools like nm-vpnc-service, nm-vpnc-
These tools are supposed to be built out of the vpn-daemons/ subdirectory of the source package of the network-manager source tarball. Note that this directory has its own set of configure script and Makefile.

i know there was some contention tho, because someone was working on n-m for main
