Bug Description

melonhead@grimace:~$ screen --version
Screen version 4.00.03jw4 (FAU) 2-May-06

To reproduce, create a .screenrc file with the following lines:
hardstatus on
hardstatus alwayslastline
hardstatus string "%w%=%m"

Start a screen session
Resize terminal emulator to be only 0 or 1 line tall.

Result: screen crashes and all windows in the session are lost

Ubuntu repos have GNU screen version 4.00.03jw4 (FAU) 2-May-06
Latest release version is 4.00.03 (FAU) 23-Oct-06

Bug does not occur when using 4.00.03 (FAU) 23-Oct-06 built from source.

Confirmed that this bug still remains in latest upstream git sources, and added tracking upstream

Seems to be fixed upstream. It's marked as "fixed in 4.1.0", so I expect that we can expect a new screen upstream release more or less soon. Yay! :-)
