Bug Description

Mythbuntu 8.10
I can reproduce this quirk as follows:

Ensure that your Ripping temp location has ample free space for this, about 5-6GB is fine.
Ensure that your destination configuration is set for a drive which can be dismounted and on which there is insufficient space, less than 3-4 for a full DVD burn.
Go into MythTV and then "import DVD".
Now unmount the partition which has the destinaton your file goes to - /mnt/videomedia for me.
Now put in your DVD and let it be recognized.
Choose NEW RIP and then go through the screen and begin.
As soon as you click you end up back where you began - process aborted(?).
Remount the drive and retry the rip process, again a problem but no notification.

Howdy, and thank you for helping to make Mythbuntu better. The mythtv developers upstream have stopped focusing on 0.21 based reports in preparation for a 0.22 release later this year. Can you please try to see if this bug is reproducible on 0.22? If it is, we can try to forward this bug upstream to get the right eyes focused on it.

We have builds of mythtv 0.22 available on a PPA to test. Please follow the directions at http://mythbuntu.org/auto-builds to enable them.

WARNING: If you intend to revert back to 0.21 after testing, you will need to back up your database before upgrading.

    Thanks!

Closing since this was opened on 0.21, which upstream is no longer supporting or fixing bugs on. Please feel free to open a new ticket on this or any other issue you find!
