Bug Description
I just installed the latest daily build of the preview as of 9/21. I'm using an old i810-based system,
but I know that both the drives and the chipset support 32-bit I/O. Nevertheless, none of the drives
have 32-bit IO_support enabled by default.

This feature (like DMA, see bug #36185) is not enabled by default because some
drives fail to work when it is enabled.
