Bug Description

ubuntu jammy (canary) install attempted on
- sony vaio svp112a1cw (i5-9400u, 4gb, intel haswell-ULT)

selecting 'erase & install' flashes briefly then re-asks the same question.

** expected

on selecting 'erase & install' I expect installer to continue & overwrite the prior install that was on this box

** actual outcome

I get a flash on the continue button as if 'accepted' then dialog box returns to normal as if wanting to click 'continue' or 'go back' yet again.

If there is a problem - why not give me a message.

screen pic shows dialog.

terminal was last used to confirm no SQUASHFS errors & media verification had completed; then `ubuntu-bug` was run which opened `firefox` where I'd soon type this. Alas that was started before I did the screenshot, thus why it's on screen sorry.
