I built a Bionic test kernel with commit f919dde0772a894c693a1eeabc77df69d6a9b937. The test kernel can be downloaded from:

http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~jsalisbury/lp1742563

Can you test this kernel and see if it resolves this bug?

Note, to test this kernel, you need to install both the linux-image and linux-image-extra .deb packages.

Thanks in advance!

hi, Joseph Salisbury
we will do full test on 18.04 beta release. we just make sure this commit should be merged into 18.04 since Melhow is expected to be supported in 18.04 and we don't want our release(18.04) miss this commit.

Intel upstream has tested this in latest kernel.
