Bug Description
In testing the 20170516 image of Lubuntu's Live ISO image (amd64) for Artful, when hitting "Try Lubuntu" or "Install Lubuntu", either of which should spawn the GUI, the system will look like it's booting, boot to a virtual terminal prompt, and then not do anything, and not proceed to the GUI.
This breaks all Lubuntu Live Desktop images. I've tested the i386 images and the amd64 images - they're both affected.
As there is no usable environment here, I cannot provide any version specific details, other than that this is Artful.
[teward]: VMware VMs were used for testing.
