Bug Description

I was following this test case: http://packages.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/341/builds/95070/testcases/1603/results

When I got to step 8 on this section(This test will check that System Power options work correctly), first and foremost, when I pressed keys on my keyboard, it still was suspended. This may be a hardware thing. I had to press the power button once for it to resume. My hardware profile is here: http://pastebin.ubuntu.com/12010307/

Secondly, at one point I installed Gnome, but when I removed it, I guess I didn't remove the Gnome fallback session. When I woke up from suspend, I got the default Gnome login screen! A workaround that I went to on instinct(that worked) was to go to tty1, and enter sudo service lightdm restart. I got the default Lubuntu login screen again. A screenshot of the different interface is here: http://i.imgur.com/vjV51TF.jpg

Is Lubuntu using lightdm-gtk-greeter? If so, this bug needs to be assigned to that package. This functionality is controlled in the greeter, not LightDM.

Changed in lightdm:
status: New → Incomplete
