Bug Description
Binary package hint: language-selector
Language selector should allow that when support for a new language is selected, it immediately appears in the "Default language" list so that it may be selected. Only if the language support installation fails, it should be reverted to the previous default.
This is an usability issue, doubling the work required (starting language selector two times). This is also related to my recent post https:/

Thanks for your bugreport.
This is indeed a issue that needs to be adressed. The current way is because we know only after installing the package what additional languages it offers. But its definitely something that should be improved, maybe a first step would be to auto select the firstlocale variant available.
