Bug Description

Testcase: http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/testcases/1471/info
Hardware: KVM-VM

Incidentally the virtio disk I used had a LVM install present. When selecting "other" and entering the manual partitioner, it is not possible to remove the LVM volumes. Only the "change" button becomes active, not the remove "-" one.

Can be worked-around by going back to the "meets pre-requisites" screen, then manually removing (on one of the VTs) the VG and purging the PV signature. Then returning to the partitioner.

correct, there is no support for LVM in the manual partitioning. I believe there is a prior bug about this already. Thus this is a duplicate.

I know this won't add too much, but I failed to delete a "physical volume for encryption" while executing this test case. (BTW, its really annoying not being able to use LVM on manual partitioning).
