Bug Description

ENHANCEMENT REQUEST. In the XFCE Settings GUI, we are off to a good start with Preferred Applications. However, we also need to expand this function so that non-computer-tech folks can specify personally preferred applications for text editing, multimedia, and office functions. I am sure that other functions could benefit as well from the current settings GUI approach.
