When inputting encryption passwords, ubiquity let's you continue whether or not the passwords match.

This only affects Kubuntu

For clarity, this is full disk encryption, not home directory encryption.

I've replicated this. The U/I does correctly show if the passwords match or not, so the feedback to the user before they press continue is correct. I'm not sure if this is actually RC or not. I could see release noting this if we have to (rather than respin every flavor for this Kubuntu specific issue). It would be, really good to get fixed if a patch is available and we respin for other reasons.

trying 2.14.7 from raring-proposed it won't let me Continue from the partition selection page if the encryption passwords are different. There is only 1 of each filesystem listed in the manual partitioning Change dialogue combobox.

  * [Qt Frontend] Clear use as combo box, on each iteration to avoid
    duplicated entries. (LP: #1171989) Thanks merryidleness for the patch.
  * Automatic update of included source packages: base-installer
    1.122ubuntu15, flash-kernel 3.0~rc.4ubuntu33.
