on screen keyboard does not come up when clicking the search bar of the dash

The on screen keyboard does not come up on Nexus 7 afterfresh install with 20130222 image. when clicked onthe dash search box

Steps:

1. Use ubuntu-nexus7-installer to install latest raring image
2. Click on the dash and then on the search box.
3. It could noticed that the virtual keyboard does not come up.
