Bug Description
Trash icon in Launcher indicates that there are items in the trash. But it is actually empty. This happens after an external drive (USB, etc.) has been ejected/
Steps to reproduce:
1. make sure trash is empty and no external media is attached.
2. plug external memory, e.g. USB thumb drive, smartphone, etc.
3. delete one or more files on external memory to trash (hit 'del' once). Trash icon shows now that there is something in it.
4. "Umount" or "safely remove" or "eject" external memory.
Result: Trash icon still indicates items in trash, although it is empty.
